Raymond Zoeckler is a graduate of Ithaca College, the University of Wyoming and the State
University of New York. His violin teachers included Adrienne Krasner (Galimir), Thomas
Michalak and Felix Eyle. He was a participant in the AFM Congress of Strings in Saratoga and
then in Cincinnati under Richard Burgin, and has held positions with the Syracuse Symphony,
the Puerto Rico Symphony and the DesMoines Symphony. Ray currently is a board member of
the Chamber Music Society of Utica and plays regularly for the Utica and Catskill Symphonies,
as well as for the Albany and Glens Falls Symphonies, Albany Pro Musica, Burnt Hills Oratorio
Society, and others.
