Kathryn Lowery currently the principal timpanist of the Glimmerglass Opera Orchestra, a
position she has held for 25 years. In addition, she is also the principal timpanist of the Utica,
Catskill and Schenectady Symphonies, and plays timpani/percussion for visiting National
Broadway show tours and internationally acclaimed performing artists. She is also the assistant
director and a faculty member of the Eastern U.S. Music Camp, held at Colgate University.
