Trumpeter Jerry Bryant is currently a member of the New York
City Opera Orchestra of Lincoln Center and the Hartford
Symphony Orchestra. Before joining the NYC Opera in 2004
Mr. Bryant was a member of the United States Navy Band,
Washington DC for seven years. During that time he was a
featured soloist and performed for presidents, dignitaries
and international audiences. Mr. Bryant has performed on
Broadway as well as the National, Jacksonville, Mclean,
Tallahassee, Fairfax, Annapolis, Long Island, Brooklyn,
Washington Ballet and Westfield Symphony Orchestras. He
is currently professor of trumpet at Montclair State, Seton
Hall, New Jersey City and Kean Universities. He is also the
Musical Director of the Kean University Pep Band. He holds
a Master of Music degree from The Catholic University of
America and a Bachelor of Music from Florida State
University. Jerry lives in Orange, N.J. with his wife, oboist
Kathi Jo Bryant, and their son Joseph.
