Greg Spiridopoulos has been the principal
trombonist with the Albany Symphony Orchestra as
well as a member of the Portland Symphony
Orchestra since 2001. As an active free-lancer in the
greater Boston area, Mr. Spiridopoulos has
frequently appeared with the Boston Symphony
Orchestra, Boston Pops, Opera Boston, Boston
Philharmonic, the Handel and Haydn Society, Boston
Lyric Opera, Boston Ballet Orchestra, the Rhode
Island Philharmonic, the New Hampshire Music
Festival, and many others. He is currently Lecturer of
Trombone at The University of Massachusetts at
Amherst. This will be his first season with the
Glimmerglass Opera Orchestra.
