Ben Aldridge has been a member of the Glimmerglass Opera Orchestra since 1976, and has been the Orchestra's Personnel Manager for more than 10 years. Ben is a former member of the Syracuse Symphony, and he continues longtime memberships in the Northeast Pennsylvania and Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestras, as well as the Catskill and Utica Symphonies. Ben also plays with and arranges for the Catskill Brass Quintet. In addition to his performing work, Ben is a member of the Music Department faculty at SUNY Oneonta, and holds Adjunct Instructorships at Binghamton University and Hartwick College. He is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and a charter member of the International Trumpet Guild. He has been recorded on Columbia and Redwood records. Ben lives in Milford, New York with his wife, clarinetist Robin Seletsky, and their twin sons, Sam and Zak.
